At the David Brown Foundation, supporting young people and helping to build brighter futures is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we are incredibly proud to announce our recent donation of £2,000 to Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm – an inspiring organisation that has been making a difference in children’s lives for over a century.
Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm offers vital support to some of the most disadvantaged children in our local communities, providing them with opportunities to enjoy the kind of childhood experiences many take for granted – from outdoor adventures to their very first camping trips. It’s a place full of joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories, and we’re honoured to be a part of it.
Thanks to our donation, five camping experiences are now booked for children supported by the charity, running from mid-June throughout the summer holidays. These breaks are more than just holidays – they’re a chance for young people to build confidence, make friends, and experience freedom and fun in a safe and nurturing environment.
We’ve been deeply moved by the charity’s heartfelt message of thanks:
"Your generosity gives young people the chance to enjoy their first camping experiences in a safe, happy environment, full of smiles, laughter, and magical memories that last a lifetime."
As part of our ongoing relationship with Lineham Farm, we’ll be sharing updates over the summer about the number of children supported, and we look forward to seeing photos of the adventures our donation has helped make possible.
A huge thank you to Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm for the incredible work you do. We’re honoured to play a small part in helping you brighten children's lives.
